Main responsibilities:
Deliver great service to customers, on time every time by:
• Ordering Telco carrier circuits for non-standard deliveries eg pilots, long leadtime project circuits, new products, etc
• Act as the 1st level of escalations for Carrier circuit and CPE issues from the Project management/ Move&Change Coordination teams.
• Act as a 2nd level of escalations for carrier circuits issues from ZA team.
• Review assigned carriers within the internal database each 4 months and ensure all information is current.
• Review Carrier/ Supplier performance on a weekly basis. Carry out RCA on failures and initiate action with the carrier/ supplier to resolve.
• Conduct sample audits on supplier orders/ deliveries to ensure compliance to processes and system rules.
• Order CPE via Oracle Purchase Order system to ensure kit arrives in time for circuit completion/ configuration
• Ensure processes are being followed or are improved to optimise the cash flow from company to suppliers
Support the Team:
• Deputise for the Team manager,
• Provide training/mentoring and guidance to other team members,
• Take a lead role in managing large projects, with accountability of directing other team members,
• Take a leading role in improvement initiatives within the team and with interdepartmental interfaces,
• Represent the provisioning team at meetings and forums
Requirements:
1-2 years Telecommunications experience involving managing Telco circuit delivery and other suppliers to provisioning SLAs
1-2 years experience of lead role within a team
0.5-1 year experience of training other team members
Has a track record of delivering results
Has a good product depth and a technical overview of services delivered by Telco carriers.
Workload management - ability to work to multiple deadlines & co-ordinate multiple priorities/ tasks simultaneously
Good communication skills
Ability to build good relationships with Customers, Suppliers and other’s within the group
Good written & spoken French
Good Microsoft office suite skills
