For Honeywell Process Solutions, Lifecycle Solutions & Services organization we are currently looking for automation engineers to join us asProposal Engineersfor Estimating Back Office in Bucharest, Romania.
Goals
Prepare and create responses to customer’s requests for proposals, estimates and information as directed by the Sales and Operations teams
Through experience and use of the necessary company resources: ensure a high rate of success on bids/orders, deliver responses and proposals of the highest quality possible and continually seek out ways to improve the way we serve our customers
Leverage systems and tools to accurately maintain estimates, proposals, requests, responses and supporting documentation
Key Deliverables
Complete cost estimates and proposals within required timelines
Accurate portrayal of costs in the form of cost estimates
Advice to the Sales/Service Front Office Team on technical and commercial alternatives that ensure lowest compliant bid while providing highest value to the customer.
Proposals and Estimates captured through the use of Siebel
Responsibilities
Full proposal and costing of: All Honeywell hardware and software, “One Honeywell” content other Third party content, etc. for All LSS efforts, all projects
Skills
Relates to and understands the clients business and requirements
Microsoft Office Tools and other business level applications
Technically minded and an Integrative Thinker – can think out of the box to create alternative solutions – inside and outside Honeywell scope of supply
Open minded
Strong Team Player
Self motivated with good communication skills
Proven organisational and self-motivation abilities
Ability to interact with a wide variety of customers in various countries
Has a hands on approach
Interpersonal skills
Fluent in Oral & written English communication and other European languages: French, Italian, Spanish, German, Russian.
Knowledge
Engineering degree
Good knowledge of products and solutions within Industrial Automation Markets
A well developed sense of customers business and there drivers
Understands the unique value proposition of Honeywell’s offering
Good knowledge of competitors’ solutions, value propositions, market strategies and position.

5 years process automation
3 years field equipment
Industrial application experience
