We need a smart, flexible proofreader with strong technical skills. Attention to detail, adhering to brand guidelines and ability to catch technical and linguistic errors are crucial. Also a must is excellence in grammar, punctuation and the mechanics of composition. Candidates should be capable of:
Proofreading/editing/implementation of changes using CAT Tools/Adobe Acrobat/MS Office
Proofreading against regulatory requirements/checklists
Adhering to and maintaining constantly changing client style sheets
Ability to prioritize workloads, be deadline oriented and available to work overtime as needed
Salary and incentives are based on level of experience and ability to turn assignments around in a timely manner
4+ years of professional translation/proofreading experience
Fluent in English
Advanced in French or Spanish or Italian or German
Extremely detail-oriented
Must have strong communication skills and proven ability to work within a team
CAT Tools experience is a plus
