Category and brand pricing strategy development:
- Supports marketing, sales and finance to establish promotional objectives, core tactics and to determine promotional budget/intensity for each brand;
Customer strategy and planning:
- Supports S&D with allocation of promotional budget across channels, customers and regions;
- Develops and updates promotional guidelines;
- Supports S&D team with development of customer and/or channel level promotional plans;
- Supports pricing manager and S&D to set boundaries for negotiation;
Execution and performance management:
- Creates master template, rationale and supporting analytics for retail sell-in story;
- Measures overall promotional performance on an ongoing basis.
For our client, a well-known drinks producer we are looking for a Promotion Efectiveness Analyst.
The ideal candidate shoul have:
- Minimum 2 years experience in FMCG (beverages ideal) in brand marketing or sales, pricing experience advantageous; previous experience in research is also acceptable;
- University degree in economics, mathematics or business degree with extensive quantitative content;
- Familiarity with how to read and analyze sales data and manipulate large databases;
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis;
- Very good understanding, speaking and writing in English;
- Computer literate (MS Office package, including Microsoft Access)- Skilled Excel user, knowledge of other pricing system tools is an advantage;
