You will join the current team in Bucharest (office in Unirea square).
Seeking a software Project Manager to design and build scalable software architectures. As Software Project Manager you will work with an extremely bright, motivated and energetic team as you investigate, prototype, propose and develop technology options for various systems architecture. You will lead the engineering team in the design and development of class models, data repositories, SOA, and APIs. As Software Project Manager you will work closely with Product Management and application development teams to understand the requirements to build multiple applications for our clients. In this capacity you will identify gaps and determine the design trade-offs in the system specifications.
Requirements:
*7+ years of experience building sophisticated, complex software applications with experience as a Software Architect
* Experience working in all phases of software development, design patterns, and development methodologies.
*Experience building Service Oriented Architecture
*Experience building class and data models using EA or similar tools
*Experience building business applications using RDBS such as MySQL, MSSQL, and Oracle.
*Expert level knowledge of one of the following technologies: .Net 3.5 , PHP, Python, Java, RoR.
*Experience building scalable solutions using Hadoop and HBase
*Expertise in distributed computing design patterns such as MapReduce
*Good understanding of performance tuning with both NoSQL and SQL technologies
*Experience building analytical applications with large data volume
*Experience leading a development team
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to mentor development staff while implementing best practices and improve development processes.
*Very good command of English, both written and spoken
*BS in CS or equivalent
