RESPONSABILITATI

Responsibilities: The Project Manager (PM) has primary responsibility for implementing and managing IOCC’s projects, achieving project goals and objectives in accordance with the project proposal and donor requirements. The PM will participate in the recruitment of project staff, provide day-to-day guidance; track on a monthly basis direct project expenditures and ensure compliance with the approved budget; draft quarterly, interim and final narrative project reports and ensure their timely submission according to donor and IOCC requirements. The PM will liaise regularly with project partners and donors and reports to the National Director.


CERINTE

Requirements: At least 5 years of experience of increasing responsibility in managing capacity building and social development projects; past experience in directly managing European or US funded grants is a must; experience in training, strategic planning, social research; ability to manage large complex projects; tenacity in observing IOCC and donor regulations, meeting tight deadlines; excellent computer and strong written and spoken English skills.

IOCC opened its mission in Romania in April 2000, at the invitation of the Romanian Orthodox Church (ROC). Through awareness raising and education, food security, civil society building, training, and capacity development programs, IOCC seek to assist all Romanians in need, while ensuring strong and effective development of local partners and organizations.

To date, IOCC, in close cooperation with the ROC, has successfully completed relief aid, social service delivery and capacity building programs in support of low-income families, social cases, youth and children of all ages and ethnic backgrounds.
