DESCRIEREA FIRMEI

Inform Lykos Romania S.A. has been founded in order to buy off the two biggest Romanian companies in printed computing. The newly founded company managed to earn substantial technological and commercial know-how, ensuring an upgrade in the offered products and services. This successful model presents prospects of expansion in other countries’ markets.

In May 2001 Inform Lykos Romania signed a buying off contract with the two biggest Romanian companies in printed computing, which already held a significant part of the Romanian market. Run by General Manager, Petros Schilizzi, the company employees more than 450 people.

Inform Lykos Romania was founded in order to undertake this particular buying off and its shareholders composition includes 24% forming the part of the Romanians, 51% Inform Lykos SA and 25% Balkan Fund By National Bank, which is being managed by the National company of Participants, a subsidiary of the Bank.

The transportation of the technological and commercial Know-how in order to upgrade the offered products and services was the first goal. The commercial results already show a most positive influence and in 2001 the turnover of Romania formed 27% in the total of all Group subsidiaries.

Among the clients of Inform Lykos Romania are the Romanian Finance Ministry, The Romanian National Printer, eminent foreign banks participating in the local market, Rom Telecom and a vast number of Romanian and international companies.

Apart from this, the successful model of Romania concerning the activities of Lykos Group outside the Greek market has significant potential for expansion in other Eastern European countries.
