The Project Manager is to give support to the Client and provide guidance to the Project Team with particular reference to the following functions:
- Quality & Safety, Planning, Cost Control, Liaison.
- In conjunction with the other team members ensure that the works are constructed to the design and specifications as set out by the Contract.
- The Project Manager will be responsible for implementing the inspection and recording of defects including the follow up action.
- Safety: In conjunction with the Safety Engineer, undertake a risk assessment of the Project and from this study comment on the Contractors Project Safety Plan. In conjunction with the Safety Engineer ensure that the Project Safety procedures are implemented and arrange for the necessary facilities for safety auditing.
- Planning: In conjunction with the planner, carry out overall planning for the Project, review and comment on the Contractors programming for the Project. Analyze and comment on the logic and areas of risk to the Client. Review the progress of the works and carry out ad-hoc programming exercises for the Client if required.
- Cost Control: In conjunction with the Cost Engineer, review the monthly progress payments to the Contractors. Advise and assist the Client on any potential claims and change orders to the Trade Contracts. Arrange for ad-hoc cost exercises to be carried out on request of the Client. Assist in implementing a cost monitoring system.
- Liaison: In conjunction with other team members, prepare and review the reports that are required by the Client
- Competencies: At least 10 years of construction experience in a project organization of which at least one project as a project manager, International exposure would be advantageous
- Education: Technical Bachelors degree as minimum;
- Personality: Client focus, Commercial awareness, Integrity, Communicative, Strong personality, Initiating and self-supporting;
- Flexibility in their working hours and mobility
- Language skills: English and Romanian (both fluent verbally and in writing); French is an advantage
- PC Skills ( MSOffice - Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Clean driving license ( B Category )
