The Project Manager is responsible for leading the delivery team in the realisation of business benefit through the of translation requirements to working software and/or hardware. The Project Manager provides feedback on the team’s current practice, helping them improve and ensuring the team has a clear goal. The Project Manager contributes to positive team relationships, achieves consensus and commitment where needed and engenders an open information environment, a sense of trust, responsibility and ownership within the team.
Project Governance - must demonstrate a deep understanding of agile project management and proactive tracking and reporting that include scope, budget, time, quality, risk and issues to various stakeholders
Effective Communication – must demonstrate good English both written and verbal with an ability to communicate at all levels from senior stakeholders, customers, external parties and multi-disciplinary delivery teams
Agile Leader – must demonstrate a deep understanding of Agile/Scrum concepts, principles, practices and understand the real world implications in their adoption and application within teams
Adaptive - must demonstrate a learning style through a continual progression to new methods, tools and techniques to manage oneself and a team
Facilitation - must demonstrate the ability to organise and lead discussion, at times mediate and resolve conflicts, identify common ground and consider alternatives or different approaches
Organisation - must demonstrate a drive towards empowering teams to self-discipline and self-organisation, managing conflicting priorities and time-lines whilst providing clarity to the team and others
Transparency – must demonstrate an ability to create an open information culture, an honest atmosphere in a team and through the organisation
