• Identify and contact potential sponsors, collaborators or other organizations or people who would be interested in participating in the event;
• Arrange and attend meetings with potential sponsors, collaborators or other organizations or people who would be interested in the event;
• Present, promote and demonstrate the event’s advantages to potential sponsors and collaborators in order to build partnerships;
• Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project;
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents;
• Complete work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task;
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations;
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans;
• The ideal candidate has experience within marketing, communications and sales, and have a strong project management background ideally within events, media, both social and public relations (preferably over 3 years);
• University degree;
• Excellent usage of English in writing, reading, understanding (formal and corporate use); other languages are an advantage;
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
• Ability to form strong relationships with potential sponsors, collaborators or other organizations or people who would be interested in participating in the event and represent the company professionally;
• Strong written and oral communication skills in presenting, promoting and demonstrating the advantages of the event;
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential;
• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
• Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently;
• Flexible during times of change;
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
