Job description
- Drive execution of the allocated projects scope to maximize the results of the global projects with respect to Cash and Margin,
- Delivering the Project on time, in conformity with the contract and managing the customers expectations.
Role – Project Manager – responsible for:
• Design the project execution strategy for the execution of the allocated projects scope in order to achieve the project performance goals.
• Provides adequate reporting to customers, business partners and management. Agrees with the Project Director the interface with the customer and delivers in accordance with the agreement.
• Sets up and secure the necessary resources for the execution of the project. Organizes the project team and ensures that the team members have clearly identified roles, responsibilities, defined interfaces and are empowered within their scope of duties.
• Constantly monitors and reports the necessary key performances indicators and takes all necessary actions and decisions to guarantee financial, time, quality and safety performance to maximize the allocated projects scope’s goals achievements.
• Ensure best compliance with specification at lowest final cost.
• Launches the preparation and monitors inspection test programs.
• Consolidates and approves the documentation on the allocated scope.
• Ensure that Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety requirements are applied.
• Addresses claims by deciding on actions and leading them in consideration of the defined strategy. Immediately informs the Project Director of any impact on the overall performance of the Project.
• Constantly updates and reviews the risks and opportunities of the Project.
• Assumes full responsibility for the delivery of the allocated projects scope.
• Defines Project goals and objectives, evaluates performance against Project team and provides performance evaluation and development plans to the functional management.
• Develops and monitors the Master Time Schedule, manages Project float to ensure timely completion of the Project.
Education & Experience:
• University degree in Engineering
• Experience and training in large capital plant Project Management
• 5+ years of relevant industrial experience [ construction and site experience]
• 1 year of experience in a Project Team
• Very good organizing and coordinating skills
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good PC skills
