Present in over 17 countries like: Austria, Denmark, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, Netherlands and with over 5,000 stores, our client is a successfully expanding German enterprise activating in the retail field.
• Monitoring construction of stores and warehouses
• Report to the technical director and oversee all activities of contracted consultants in preparation of permitting strategies, timetables, cost plans, tenders, program development, on site engineering and construction process
• Active participation at the development of the expansion project
• Supporting the subsidiaries in the realization of the construction projects of the warehouse, having in consideration the quality, the deadlines and the costs
• Negotiation of the technical and economical conditions with the producers and the providers
• Monitoring deficiencies that could appear at new warehouses
• In collaboration with the technical director maintaining and updating the technical memorium for stores and warehouses
• Closing contracts with specialized companies for sanitary, electrical etc. Installations
• Ensuring audit and reporting for all store and warehouse buildings
• Taking part at auctions
• Graduated of a Construction faculty
• Relevant experience in the field 1-3 years
• Stress resistant and strong managerial qualities in developing a project
• Must be able to effectively oversee all aspects of design/ construction process and steer project(s) to successful conclusion within tight time frames
• Advanced analytical and problem solving skills, budget allocations
• Good communication abilities, team player
• Strong knowledge of DOCLIB, AutoCAD and MS Office (incl. Microsoft Project)
• Experience in the field like project or constructions manager
• Good knowledge of German and English
• B category driver’s license and availability to travel around the country
