The Regional Consulting group is responsible for implementing and delivering Oracle solutions around the eBusiness suite, the Oracle Technology stack and the Business Intelligence suite. You will be familiar with the Oracle Applications and/or the Oracle Technology stack, and will ideally have progressed from an implementation-consulting role prior to moving into project management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support of new and existing customers in their implementation of the Oracle products.
- Defining the client¿s operational and strategic objectives. Understanding Oracle's product capability.
- Provide effective solutions to the client's business
- Managing large Oracle-based implementations AND/OR Oracle technology projects on behalf of Oracle.
- Ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget and to the customer's satisfaction.
- You will be involved in the pre-sales process in helping to close the sale of the project, and you will lead the commercial negotiations for the services element of the project with the customer.
- After contract signing, you will form a team and manage this team, ensuring that the key objectives of timeliness, profitability and customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.
- Extensive experience of implementing Oracle solutions in both
- Private and/or Public Sector clients.
- Must have at least 5 years of managing the delivery of large projects.
- Experience of leading Pre-Sales demonstrations and managing customer proposals is essential
- Strong team player and be able to give direction to more junior levels.
- Must have used widely accepted implementation and project management methodologies (e.g. CDM, AIM, PJM, PRINCE).
- Should have internal/external consulting experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence and credibility to drive through systems implementations at a senior level.
- Excellent problem-solving, influencing and negotiation skills
- You should also enjoy traveling, as you will be working on projects based at our client premises, throughout UK and Ireland.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Self-motivated, able to plan work effort and manage to the project schedule and priorities
