Its principal task consists in the elaboration of technical and commercial offers for European mobile operators:
-Elaboration of responses to tenders issued by customers and prospects
- Participation to the promotion of Alcatel-Lucent Mobile Networks towards our customers & prospects
- Technical support to sales support and sales force
- Elaboration of spontaneous offers for mobile operators
- Support to negotiations and clarifications
- Transfer of winning offers towards operation for realisation:
He is fully responsible for the Request for Tender project, ensuring the following steps:
- Correct translation of customer specific requests
- Dispatching & co-ordination of the tendering activities among all the contributors involved
- Handling the Kick-off meeting to be set-up with all participants (Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Network Design managers, etc…)
- Preparing the technical proposal
- Handling the quotation of the project
- Preparing Income Statement to be validated by the Management
- Handling the Offer Review Meeting
- Integration of the final offer document
The job is hosted within Wireless Group of Alcatel-Lucent.
Short duration business trips in the Balkans Region are envisaged.
An initial training phase is planned.
Education:
University degree in science
Required skills:
IT and Telecom principles
Mobile Networks specialization (GSM radio protocols, PDH/SDH microwave transmissions)
Knowledge in Mobile market (operators and/or infrastructure supplier)
Project Management
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Languages:
Working language is English.
- Fluent English is compulsory
- French is a plus
Professional experience:
A 1 to 3 year experience is required, in:
- Mobile networks (BSS, NSS, Applications) end-to-end architecture,
- Mobile network radio infrastructure: PDH/SDH, BSS, UTRAN
- Pre-sales or post-sales experience in Project management
- Communication and customer skills
A significant tendering experience in a multi-product environment is a plus.
