As an integral part of Technology Solutions Group Customer Operations, Engagement Customer Operations is responsible for engagement financial information, administrative services and analysis for customer projects at the engagement and account level within HP Services.
Currently, we are centralizing part of our operations in Bucharest and we are looking for candidates willing to join a competitive, rewarding business environment starting February 2008 for the positions of: Project Controllers
Duties and responsibilities:
Through understanding of the HP project business provide financial and administrative support to HP Managed Services management, Project Managers and other customers. Serve as a focal point within the organization to track the details of these projects, following HP policies and processes:
-Month end process (revenue recognition and cost accounting, voucher posting, checking of data quality)
-Maintaining and tracking financials project in cooperation with country Project Managers, Admin Front office, financial analysts
-Sales order booking
-Purchasing process
-Invoicing
-Financial reports analysis
-Forecasting, reporting – data preparation
-Participation in project status meetings (teleconferences)
-Maintain project documentation in accordance to HP policies
Our perfect candidate has minimum requirements:
-Accounting-Finance background
-Customer oriented with good written and spoken English skills
-Any other European languages is an asset (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, German, Dutch)
-MS Office Suit knowledge (mainly excel, word)
-Good with numbers
-Patient and well organized
-Able to work under pressure
-Self-dependent, flexible person
-Proactive
Desirable requirements:
-Previous work experience is a plus.
