RESPONSABILITATI

The Sr. Manager of Project Management will lead the design and implementation of project management processes and tools, utilized to successfully (on-time, on-budget, high quality) deliver complex software development and integrations projects for our flagship treasury and capital markets product. The Sr. Manager will be hands-on and will be directly accountable for the successful delivery of all projects across strategic and funded development. The incumbent must be an expert in development methodologies and must have experience in managing projects through system development life cycle across multiple global locations. He/she is responsible for ensuring compliance with policy and procedure, auditing projects, and assuring the quality of project work products and deliverables.

- Serve as a change agent in developing and enforce project management methodologies, policies, governance standards, metrics, tools, procedures and training.
-Establish a culture of accountabilities and results.
- Build project management competencies, provide seasoned leadership, coaching and training around project management disciplines and Project Manager Development. Especially with Agile (Scrum) and Earned Value Project Management Practices.
- Partner with the resource managers and business stakeholders to ensure that ALL projects are delivered on time, within budget and to an agreed quality level. Primary accountability
- Lead and facilitate monthly Internal Project Review Boards.
- Ensures that all projects are defined, tracked and communicated in a consistent and effective manner.
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring and controlling project progress.
- Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Refine the consolidation and automation of all project status reporting.
- Monitor, track, and report on operational performance of all the projects across strategic and funded development. (Labor, Non-Labor, Direct/Indirect, PM Utilization, OLA, SLAs, etc.)
- Build and maintain an environment that will promote the identification, refinement and sharing of both explicit and tacit Project Management knowledge.
- Create an environment that promotes continuous process improvement.


CERINTE

- Over 10 years of experience and successful track record of directly managing complex software development program/projects, size over 1-2 million dollars per project. Prefer commercial software projects.
-Experience managing distributed teams across multiple locations.
- Hands on experience and expertise in Scrum (Agile), SDLC, and project management frameworks: prefer PMI certified and/or certified scrum master.
- Experienced in objectively management through project management operational metrics.
-Background or experience in lean six sigma is a plus.
- Prefer candidates with Financial Services background.
- Experienced developing and managing project managers.
- Effective in management building cooperative relationships at all levels.
- Assertive, motivating, positive and self driven.
- Excellent communication, and fluent in English and local Romanian language.
