Our client is a multinational manufacturer, world leader in a few important areas of construction material field, like glass, glasswool insulation, pipes and fittings, ceramics and abrasives.
For our client, we are looking for a PRODUCTION MANAGER to be in charge with managing and organizing the manufacture of coated glass for their new production line in CALARASI.
Responsibilities:
Organizing and co-ordinating the line operation production;
Ensuring that the quality standards are achieved through effective process control;
Coordinating the recruitment and training of production operators in order to achieve business objectives;
Developing the annual budget and submitting it for approval;
Ensuring that costs are contained within budgets for manpower, energy, raw materials and maintenance;
Maximizing time between shutdowns through process control in order to optimize the output of the asset and to ensure maximum life of the equipment;
Responsible for the operations compliancy to company policies and procedures;
Day to day employee relations;
Initiating continuous improvement programmes in order to enhance the plants’ performance.
University degree in technical domain;
Previous experience in managing production activity in an industrial field;
Financial ability to develop, monitor, and control operating budgets;
Ability to work in a team in order to achieve overall plant objectives;
Strong verbal and written skills;
Modern People Management perspective;
Flexible approach to be able to respond to changing circumstances/opportunities, particularly during the start up phase.
Participating to technical trainings;
