• Coordinates the production system to ensure that the Romanian production is geared to meet European and global market needs and processes the appropriate quality and quantity of seed.
• Responsible for efficient economy of the production. Plans the operation of the production and works out development plans.
• Works with worldwide Supply Management (QS, Supply Planning, Supply Finance).
• Controls the activity of production on the fields and in the plant.
• Responsible for the acreage planning, working closely with the Company Planning team.
• Controls quality of produced seed on the field and plant.
• Involved in international task force activities assisting the East European Production Manager developing new contracts, technology improvements, organizing trainings.
• Selecting growers and other subcontractors and suppliers.
• Responsible for the workers regarding to the achievement quality of work and safety provisions. Responsible for the safety, fire protection, surroundings inside and outside. Keeps labour, health, fire and accident prevention regulation.
• Protects tools and values of COMPANY.
• Lead ISO 9001:2000 , Support Six-Sigma and LEAN
• University of agricultural science is a must
• Min. 5 years experience in seed production advantage
• Availability to work under stress and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of production agriculture and production plant operation.
• Good verbal and written communication and organizational skills
• Leadership, team worker
• Fluent English knowledge,
• Computer literate
• Driving license
