For one of our clients, an international company active in chemical area (paints, varnishes and lacquers), we are looking for a Production Manager.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining and further improving the production efficiency and cost in accordance with budget and KPIs goals;
Coordinating the operational compartments under his/her supervision;
Analysing the monthly manufacturing expenses report issued by the financial department and keeping a tight control of the expenses in production
cost centres;
Managing all production resources in all functional and operational production compartments;
Analysing the actual consumption of raw and packaging materials and utilities per production cycle;
Taking corrective actions and making proposals aiming at reducing the production waste and increase the production efficiency;
High involvement in the implementation and maintenance of Quality/Safety Systems by regular training of plant employees;
High involvement in the implementation and maintenance of procedures/instructions by regular training of plant employees and setting/review of action plans based on
incidents addressed by Work Protection audit reports.
University degree in (ideal in chemistry);
Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in production management
(preferably chemical industry);
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problemsolving skills;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Computer literate;
Fluent in English both written & spoken;
Clean driving license.
