Managing the production in each plant (fro Production Director)/ Managing maintenance activity in both plants (for Maintenance Director)
Implementing continuous improvement activities throughout the plant setting Key Performance Indicators and motivating people to reach the goals
Implementing lean manufacturing
Improving product quality
Ensuring Health &Security standards are met
Setting up and holding within the department budget, identifying cost saving opportunities
Identifying and implementing the requirements for employee training and development
Improving communication at all levels in the plant
Technical University degree in engineering, metallurgy, chemistry, business management or any related subject, and at least 7 years of working experience in the manufacturing/maintenance area, preferably metal processing business (experience in copper industry will be considered an advantage).
Knowledge of production/ maintenance improvement systems: Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Maintenance Management, ERP Systems, TQM
Management & organizational skills, able to communicate effectively at any levels of the organization
Project management abilities with focus on results
Abilities to take decisions under time pressure, self-motivated
Very good MS Office computer skills
English advanced
