Main responsibilities:
• Providing the data warehouse operation including :
- planning, control and monitoring of the loading activity
- installation of new release, patch etc.
- installation of new fields of application in the existing environment
- error analysis and repair
• Processing of jobs in the field data warehouse and setting up of the documentation for job processes and restart handling
• Responsibility in the planning and control of the data supply in the datawarehousing field
• Execution of the recovery procedures
• On call availability after working hours and during week-ends
Education:
- University degree, preferable in IT or economic area
Professional experience:
- Minim 2 years experience in the IT operation control, ideally in data warehousing
Abilities & Competencies:
• Good Unix-knowledge (HPUX, AIX)
• Skills in shell programming
• Reliable skills with Microsoft-tools
• Ideally experience in scheduling-systems (TWS) and project management
• Very good English knowledge
• Quick understanding and analytical thinking capacities
• Team worker and process oriented.
