-Gathering and analysis of market requirements
(Identify current and short-term (next 6-9months) product needs for vendor channels and end-users)
-Prioritize the overall MA product dvpt. needs and agree agenda with management
-Follow-up on MA general offer’s position in the marketplace – suggest changes if/when considered necessary
-Suggest current products improvement for enhanced yet realistic/achievable earnings (profitability)
-Initial propose new products in terms of structure, tenor, pricing, benefits, etc.
-Support the Risk department to gather all relevant information in order to redefine products (if necessary) and obtain the approval
-Coordinating the implementation project of the new product by organizing and managing resources in such a way that these resources deliver all the work required to complete a project within defined scope, time, and cost constraints
-Keep updated with GE products (globally) and best practices in product development
-Monitor competitor’s products and processes
-Train relevant personnel in product development related matters (best practices, experience of other markets, operational excellence)
-Identify cross-sell opportunities with other GE businesses
-Strong analytical skills
-Sound knowledge of financial products with a focus on leasing and loans for auto & equipment segments
-Helicopter view of the business & market
-Able to interact and operate at all corporate levels (up to top management)
-Relationship builder across different business functions (sales, marketing, risk, operations)
-Project management skills are considered an asset
-Ability to move projects from plan to practice
-Capacity for designing existing and/or new products into profit generators
-English language
-PC proficiency
