An opportunity exists to make an impact within our Product Innovation team. Specifically, we are looking for a senior technical resource who will interface with Clarity clients in understanding their challenges in using Clarity 6, an external reporting application. This key role will also assist clients in resolving their issues and will work closely with other developers within the Product Development team. This is a great opportunity to learn and continuously grow in a very fast-paced, dynamic environment and to be a key influencer in the development of the external reporting application.
Responsibilities:
• Interface with the product support team to understand and assess product issues
• Investigate and resolve complex technical and configuration issues
• Develop quality ‘hot fixes’ and ‘service packs’ for a growing suite of products
• Create and implement diagnostic and troubleshooting tools
• Maintain a knowledge base for internal and external clients
Technical Environment:
• Microsoft .NET Framework
• Relational and OLAP databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Essbase)
• Visual Studio 2008, C#, Javascript, VB Script, Windows Shell scripting], LINQ, Infragistics, DevExpress, Aspose would be an asset
• Microsoft Office
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and/or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding analytical and problem solving ability
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Experience in software programming, ideally with financial applications
• Attention to detail
• 2 Years of Microsoft .NET with C# (preferably .NET web applications)
• Experience with Subversion would be an asset
• Experience using .NET profiling tools such as Performance Monitor, Visual Studio .NET, CLR Profiler would be an asset
