Sourcing of multiple Indirect Spend categories
Conducts Opportunity analysis for spend management
Rate and manage performance of suppliers, ensure supplier performance of all contracts
Negotiating and concluding contracts
Ensuring that the services are as per the contracts
It will be an individual contributor role
Will be dealing with suppliers globally (esp. EMEA countries)
Will have to strategize and negotiate actively with suppliers
Will have to scout for better suppliers
To liaise with the customers to understand their requirements and close them in the given time frame
Will perform basic spend analytics in order to identify best available market price for the ongoing project
Should be able to effectively manage internal / external customers & stake holders
Will be required to reach out to different stake holders, gather information and even challenge stakeholders
Will be responsible for savings targets, timely deliveries, Customer Satisfaction
Will participate periodically to reviews with Regional commodity managers to ensure strategies are aligned and pipeline activity is proceeding
Carry out all reporting requirements accurately and within the specified time scales
Conducts Sourcing activities including RFI, RFP, price and contract negotiation
Build on existing knowledge of external best practices
Prior experience in Insurance domain is preferable
University graduated
2+ years of sourcing/procurement experience
Good understanding of the Ariba tool
Europe sourcing experience preferable
Excellent negotiation skills
Good Analytical / Commercial Skills, Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills
Need to be an excellent team player
Excellent communication skills will be required as the person will have to communicate with suppliers all over the world
Should be excellent in Excel in addition to having good working knowledge of MS Word and Power Point
English language capability to proficiency level
