- Identifies potential suppliers and active involvement in the supplier selection & approval process;
- Reviews RFQ packages from sites and divisions, checks their technical coherence, and transfers to relevant Romanian suppliers;
- Evaluates supplier offers and quotations and clarifies content and compliance (both commercial and technical) with supplier and sites;
-Negotiates purchase contracts with the selected supplier (agreement on prices, product development planning, delivery schedules, quality requirements, engineering specifications and purchase terms and conditions);
- Conduct pre-shipment inspections as needed;
- Support sites in conducting of Quality Contract Reviews, Pre-Manufacturing Reviews, and First Article Inspections (FAI).
- 2-3 year experience in procurement with a strong technical background;
- Proven experience in negotiations with knowledge of local law and rules;
- Experience in dealing with long-term supplier relationships;
- Basic understanding of processes, product quality and quality planning;
- University Degree in Engineering with experience in Procurement;
- Fluent English;
- Strong verbal communications;
- Willingness to travel.
