HP Managed Services is becoming a leader in managing, operating, and provisioning always-on IT services (infrastructure, application and business process services) and has set very ambitious growth objectives. To achieve these challenging goals, HP needs to develop managed services solutions that meet the client’s outsourcing objectives. As a member of the Presales team, you will:
-Focus on up sell activities on an existing account or new deals
-Be responsible for the end-to-end technical design of the outsourcing solution (from Presales until Contract Signature and final solution hand-over to the implementation team)
-Understand client requirements from a technical and business perspective
-Act as a link between HP and the Client, to ensure the proposed service solution is addressing the business needs of the Client and can be delivered by HP at the best possible costs
-Define deal costs for the design solution: Labor cost, Services, Hardware, Software, Vendor Contracts
-Technical or computer science university degree
-At least 5 years experience in an IT environment (ideally in consulting, infrastructure solution architect, presales, project management or outsourcing roles)
-Deep technical knowledge in one or more of the following: Server and Storage Solutions, Networking, Mainframe technology, Data Center Solutions, and Desktop Services
-Fluency in English
-Very good analytical and cost calculation skills
-Good Project Management skills
-Very good communication, customer-facing and negotiation skills
