We are looking for a Senior PR Specialist whose key responsibilities include:
- Planning and directing public relations programs designed to create and maintain a favorable public image for the company.
- Working closely with marketing, product development and production team.
- Managing and attending media related events.
- Serving as company spokesperson. Responding to enquiries from reporters and planning the communication strategy for the company.
- Developing and maintaining good working relationships with the media ??? including local and national newspapers, trade magazines, radio, and television ??? and company???s spokespeople.
- Assisting with organization of press briefings, media training, photography, and press attendance at company events.
- Providing counsel to senior executives on messaging and media relations; hosting media interviews.
- Writing and distributing company announcements (both internal or external).
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Act as a company advocate and embody the company s values: people, passion, creativity and excellence.
- Bachelor and Master degree in Marketing, PR or Communication required.
- At least 5 years experience in PR coordinator role within professional services environment and demonstrated success in implementing media campaigns.
- Very good knowledge of English. Another foreign language is a must.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Knowledge of the 5S, Kaizen, VSM, Balanced Scorecard would be a big advantage.
- Advanced PC knowledge.
- Very good communication and negotiations skills.
- Must be a self-starter, highly organized and able to work well at all levels in the organization or outdoors.
- Polished presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess top level business management, interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem solving attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure, flexible hours and to meet deadlines.
