· Manage and assist external PR agency by fulfilling interview requests and keeping agency abreast of latest malware threats from BitDefender Labs
· Act as liaison between external PR agency and executive lab personnel at BitDefender’s Romanian headquarters
· Craft and edit written materials, including press releases, media alerts, awards, speaking submissions and other event-related documentation
· Develop and maintain relationships with various sectors of the media
· Work with creative team in preparation of marketing materials for events and conferences

BA or BS in journalism, public relations, communications, marketing or related field
2+ years’ PR experience (software-related a plus)
Experience working within or managing external PR agency
Team oriented, engaging and diplomatic personality
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to multitask, anticipate needs, switch gears, and react immediately
Excellent time management and presentation skills
Strong leadership and negotiation skills
Ability to perform tasks under tight deadlines
Capability to take on new tasks without supervision
Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to travel
