Your main responsibilities would be:
- To check all produced documents (internal or subcontracted) like design reports, technical specifications, drawings, etc under your responsibility;
- To ensure the achievement of assigned goals and the fulfillment of the project quality requirements and the contractual obligations;
- To control the input data for the team activities and check/review all the documents issued by the team;
- To provide technical support to Project group.
- BOM estimation and management of materials (BOM follow up during engineering activities)
Our client, one of the largest oil and gas contractors in the world is looking for a Piping&Layout Engineer to join their team.
The ideal candidate should have:
- At least 5 years experience in piping engineering for process plants;
- Knowledge in piping engineering, both pipe codes and standards (ASME B31.3) and pipe and layout good engineering practices;
- Good skills in interpretation of P&ID and engineering drawings of oil&gas industry;
- Knowledge of plant layout main rules and basic knowledge of 3D systems (PDS or PDMS);
