- Plant layout arrangement based on analysis of project constraints, equipment data sheets and process flow sheets or P&I
- Attitude to understand technical specifications issued along with the basic design, giving correct interpretation of critical aspects
- P&I mechanisation, reflecting connections to equipment and on line instruments
- Piping running studies and critical lines network analysis, based upon process P&I and unit plot plan, taking into proper consideration plant constraints such as accessibility, maintainability, safety, thermal stress profiles, ensuring optimisation of associated costs
- Bill of material extraction either from plot plan and P&I or detailed running
- Working environment: team group activities, with extensive use of CAD assisted procedures and automated material management systems.
- Coordination of project working team inside piping department. (Discipline leader)
