Your main responsibilities will be:
- Organizing the work of you team and follow-up the planning of the resources mobilization;
- Coordinating the work of your team with the Piping and Layout engineers of the project;
- To check the input data and all the documents and information issued by the team;
- To permanently check that all the assumptions upon which is based the team work keep up with the project development and warn the project Piping and Layout Lead of any detected anomaly;
- To supervise the update of the documents after comments issued by other disciplines (inter-discipline checks) or external stakeholders (Clinet, Yards, Third party review, etc.)
Our client, one of the largest oil and gas contractors in the world is looking for a Piping&Layout Engineer to join their team.
The ideal candidate should be:
- Familiar with piping engineering, both pipe codes and standards (ASME B31.3) and pipe and layout good engineering practices;
- Familiar with drawings interpretation in oil&gas field;
- Conversant with MICROSTATION and AUTOCAD and other piping engineering related software;
- Experienced in working with 2D and 3D model software (PDS/PDMS) or equivalent
