Diploma degree in electrical engineering or related academic degree
Experience in (CMOS) RF / Analog / Mixed-Signal cell & block physical design / layout using mainly Cadence layout software, including all kind of verification tools for DRC / ERC / LVS
Tight cooperation with electrical design engineers, ability to understand the circuit functionality and relevant side effects for perfect layout design.
Know-How in chip floor-planning / top routing / pad-out arrangement, top level interconnect planning highly favorable
Basic idea of modern packages, their definition and design is very helpful
Able to handle parasitic layout parameter extraction and data post-processing to assist electrical circuit design
Experience in digital P&R-tools is of advantage
Ability to organize and moderate layout & tape-out reviews
High communication skills expected, fluent english
Highly team orientated, willing to share knowledge
Able to work in an open minded atmosphere within an international team
Willing to take over responsibility
