Senior Developer Summary
We are currently looking for Senior Developers with 3 – 5 years experience to join our Client Delivery team. The goal of this team is build customized e-commerce applications for our international clients.
Primary Role Responsibilities
• Analyze client business needs and recommend innovative solutions that leverage technology to provide market differentiation, efficiency improvements, and better user experiences
• Collaborate with an international team of Project Managers and Architects to understand client needs and communicate project progress
• Write great code! Independently determine the best approach to solving complex business problems with technology
• Mentor more junior staff members and be a role model for best practices in technical development
• Gain expertise in the Magento and/or Demandware platform from our provided training and self-motivation
• 3-5 years of application design & development experience
• Solid experience with OOP, PHP 5, Magento, Web Services, XML/XSLT, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/AJAX, Apache, Linux, MySQL is required
• Good knowledge of MVC architecture is mandatory
• Experience with Zend Framework, Demandware or Drupal is a strong plus
• Familiarity with databases and data modeling/design techniques; data interface protocols; database software installation; database tuning
• Basic knowledge of system administration and software and hardware configuration; ability to make informed recommendations to customer IT staff; ability to troubleshoot pre- and post-production implementations; security; load balancing and performance
• Prior experience in helping clients through the decision-making process
• Excellent time management and strong multi-tasking skills
• E-commerce or similar web experience is strongly preferred
• Fluent in Romanian and English, verbal and written communications
