For our Client, a global digital development company covering all cutting edge fields of development from web based applications to mobile and desktop applications, we are currently looking for: PHP DEVELOPER As PHP Developer you will be involved in designing and developing innovative web based applications. You will be working in a fast paced environment on multiple projects at one time and gain invaluable knowledge and expertise along the way. Type of projects:
The Developer should work closely with the Team Leader and Project Coordinator.
The Developer will write reports to the Team Leader regarding the status of the project.
Write clean, well-engineered code that conforms with accepted standards, and test web applications;
Understand the goals and strategy behind each project from conception through completion;
Communicate effectively with project managers, technical leads, and other internal team members;
Identify opportunities for process improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.
It is essential that the right candidate has the following skills: Minimum 4 years of development experience.
At least 2 years of object-oriented PHP development experience.
Strong relational and non-relational database skills;
Strong Linux experience.
Experience with version control software. (preferably GIT)
Excellent skills to solve technical problems;
Self-motivated, and able to multi-task;
Excellent English skills written and spoken.
