The IT Department of UBISOFT is looking for a PHP Zend Developer for designing and developing innovative web based applications.
You will be working in a fast paced international environment, on interesting core projects for the company, with high visibility, and gain invaluable knowledge and expertise along the way.
Your tasks:
- Design, code and test technical solutions while seeking optimal performance and structuring
- Define and implement technical solutions that answer best clients’ needs
- Establish responsible deadlines and personal work plans and manages time effectively
- As project team member, execute assigned tasks and communicate status to project manage progress against milestones, status, issues, risks and dependencies
- Work with Project Managers to build project plans and estimations
- Propose ideas of improvement of the applications, procedures and technologies used
- Proactively seek opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies
- Follow and enhance existing development processes
Essential skills:
- Extensive experience of developing object-oriented PHP5 web applications
- Experience of MVC frameworks, especially Zend Framework
- Experience of using and optimizing MySQL (MySQL NDB prefered)
- Experience of using JavaScript libraries including jQuery
- Experience of working with high traffic or large brand websites
- Experience with UnitTesting
- Good command of English
Nice to have:
- Experience with Rabbit MQ or AMQP
- Experience with MongoDB, couchbase or memcached
- Experience with Linux servers
- Experience with .git

- Ability to complete duties on time whilst maintaining a high quality service
