We are searching for a colleague for the following position:
PHP Back End Programmer
in our Bucharest-based development team.
What will you do?
You will…
… work in a team to an innovative, multi-tenant, enterprise class CMS system (Ideally, you are familiar with professional software development in large teams, and security and load optimization comes to you naturally);
… be responsible for the back end development of our web applications. Your work will affect over 7 million customers;
… have the responsibility for the technical conceptual design, the realization and timely rollout of the product;
We provide the framework to work independently. You will have the responsibility for the new development, the expansion and consolidation of existing applications, in close consultation with product management and other departments.
And, most of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic ePublishing Applications Romania team.
If you have:
… very good knowledge of PHP 5;
… at least 4 years of experience with PHP;
… very good knowledge of OOP;
… good knowledge of databases like MySQL;
… good knowledge Zend Framework, Propel and PEAR;
… experience with HTTP, RESTful Design, SOAP, JSON-RPC;
… knowledge of SVN, Hudson, Unit Test Frameworks and the most important Apache modules (eg mod_rewrite etc);
… clustering, efficiency in enterprise architectures are known to you, both theoretically and practically;
… excellent written and verbal English skills;
… openness to learn new technologies and to take responsibilities;
… an open mind and are an outgoing person.
Would be a plus:
… good knowledge of Java;
… knowledge of Python and Shellscript, as well as current script and markup languages;
… experience with Linux OS;
… readiness to travel abroad;
… knowledge of German language.
