Project Description:
Distributed Information system of the Investment Bank intended to maintain operations for derivatives trading on global markets, internal & external orders management, risk and P&L calculation.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide a strong contribution to the development and support of real-time risk management applications. The role encompasses:
• Setting up batch jobs for individual user areas in unix. Involves knowing real time risk applications, and manipulating data into reports/feeds to other users/systems;
• Implement functionality changes and bugs for batch jobs;
• Analysis of problems and issues in the application to identify areas for improvement;
• Provide second line to global user community (primary base will be Europe and APAC users);
The successful candidate is expected to work under minimal supervision to design and implement the required functionality/bug fixes/enhancements within allotted timescales.

• The successful applicant will have a strong focus on delivery to the business;
• The successful candidate must have strong communication skills (proficiency in English is mandatory);
• The successful candidate must be able to quickly absorb new terminology and business requirements.
