Provides overall guidance to training and development activities throughout the organization. This position requires a well-seasoned professional who can diagnose organizational needs, recommend the appropriate mix and emphasis to improve organizational effectiveness and implement the agreed plan. The incumbent will be expected to design and deliver programs for professional employees and identify externally suitable programs.
Accountabilities
- identify training and development needs of staff in conjunction with line managers
- propose overall development strategy of the company
- prepares training budget; seeks and obtains funding approval; controls costs against budget
- contact external training providers, check offers, propose courses
- reviews and evaluates the effectiveness of programs.
- run internal training session on management skills, communication, leadership, etc; run workshops and seminars
- run surveys employees opinions on different subjects, present the results, propose action plans
- run the performance evaluation program / MBO; set required competencies for each position
- identify hi-potentials in the organization and create specific career development programs, retention programs
- run assessment centers, 360 feedback evaluations for groups of employees, propose action plans as result
- design succession plans, career paths for middle management level and beneath
- help in conveying to employees the mission, vision and values of the company, finding tools, check for implementation
For its HR department, MEGA IMAGE is looking for a People Development Manager to join its team.
Job requirements are:
- 2 years experience in an HR department of a company with over 600 employees
- min 1 year experience as a trainer on management skills
- prior experience in implementing / working with evaluation systems
- university graduated (ideally in Psychology)
- PC literate, fluent English speaker
- communicative, intuitive, flexible, open minded, self starter, empathetic
- people developer
- good presentation skills
