For one of our clients, a Dutch company active in IT area we are looking for a Technical Support Engineer (MS Windows ¿ Storage ¿ Security, Oracle, Citrix and System Management).
Be our service interface to our customers;
Take responsibility for technical issues that are assigned to you;
Proactively evaluate new changes that will benefit uptime or performance of our customers infrastructure;
Handle escalations with urgency and determination;
Interface with Technology vendors to guarantee a timely response;
Provide project plans and oversee implementation of larger infrastructure changes;
Assist in continuous improvements of processes and procedures;
Escalate to management when appropriate;
Report to the Service Manager.
Service attitude;
Demonstrated in depth knowledge in one or more of the technical areas mentioned;
Certified or willingness to become certified;
Ability and willingness to become a leading expert in one of those technologies;
Ability and willingness to travel abroad to interface directly with our customers on initiation of the service,escalations or complex changes;
Good English communication skills, verbally and in writing;
Demonstrated ability to affectively manage business relationships;
Team player with the ability to collaborate with management and other departments;
German language skills would be a plus;
Combines a flexible attitude with a procedural approach to service delivery
