Job description
- create database
- create schemas
- grant /revoke system and object privileges
- manage tablespaces
* create/drop/modify
- manage oracle data files and temp files
- manage indexes
- manage partitions
- start/stop database
- database tuning
* monitor open cursors
* monitor hotspot queries
Job requirements
- understanding basic concepts as dimension and fact tables
- understanding marts and aggregated tables
- manage materialized views and materialized view logs
- understanding/being aware of function table usage
- DML
- DDL
- Triggers programming
- PL/SQL programming
- Understand/be aware of java connectivity
- Understand java model of using an oracle database
* Database connections
* Database statements
* Resultset
* DB function calls from java
* DB procedure calls from java
- Understand oracle JVM
- Create java function and stored procedures
- Create database scripts using variable substitution
- Understand/be aware of Oracle merge statement
