Performing system performance tuning and stress testing;
Developing reports;
Installing and configuring the system servers (hardware and software);
Monitoring the database events and optimizing system performance;
Offering database support and optimizing post system deployment;
Traveling to customer sites globally in order to install the new systems and to train the system administrators following deployment.
For one of our clients, a word-leading supplier of Identification and Border Management Software Systems with the headquarter in Canada, we are looking for an Oracle Database Administrator for Customer Support based in Bucharest.
Requirements:
At least 2 years experience with Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g technology;
Good understanding of Oracle Internal Structures;
Good experience in system engineering;
Bachelor degree in technical field;
Knowledge of Backup/ Recovery;
Strong communication skills in English;
Good knowledge of French could be a plus;
Excellent communication skills;
Availability to travel.
Would be a plus:
Certifications (Oracle Certified Professional/ Oracle Master);
Experience supporting mission critical relational databases;
Experience or good understanding of RAC, and other high availability Oracle technologies;
Experience writing PL/SQL( Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions and Triggers).
