• Oracle database configuration, administration, optimization and daily monitoring;
• Design, audit, performance enhasment and security settings on all our databeses;
• Responsible for defining, implementing and updating the backup policy for IT database;
• Ensures maximum availability and functionality of the allocated systems;
• Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls;
• Adapts business requirements, defining database specifications, table and elelments attribute for an application.
• University degree or Master degree in Computer Science or related fields
• Excellent experience in Oracle 9i and 10g on Windows platforms
• Deep knowledge in various areas of database administartion: standby databases; backup and recovery, performance analysisi and tuning, patching and upgrading databases
• Preferable knowledge of 10g Real Application Cluster (RAC) administration; and Oracle Application Server (OAS) administration.
• Ability to work simultaneous on multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines
• Ability to prioritize and execute as needed
• Fluent in English
