- Oracle database configuration, administration, optimization and daily monitoring;
- Database performance monitoring / tuning;
- Environment cloning / replication / upgrading;
- Daily back-up / periodical (ad-hoc) restore;
- Design, audit, performance enhancement and security settings on all our Oracle databases;
- Documentation: hardware/software configurations, downtime/availability, problem/resolution, procedures, scripts, resource usage, disaster recovery procedures, etc.
Required Skills:
- Very good knowledge of relational database concepts;
- Working experience as Oracle DB administrator;
- Experience related to at least medium size databases;
- Performance monitoring / tuning experience;
- Experience in OLAP, BI, designing data models is a plus;
- Experience with other RDBMS systems than Oracle Server is a plus (SQL Server);
- Ability to integrate well with a strong technical team;
- Very well organized;
- Attention to details;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Quick learner;
- Creative;
- Self managed and motivated, proactive approach.
Required Qualification:
- 3+ year of experience as Oracle DB Administrator;
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Information Technology or related engineering);
- Specific training / certification is a plus;
- Fluent English and Romanian.
