ORACLE BDE FINANCIALS SUPPORT ENGINEER
BDE focuses on managing Support Bug backlog and Bug escalations by technical analysis, process improvement and by sustaining a cooperative relationship with Product Development and Support teams.

Global Bug, Diagnosis and Escalations (BDE) acts as the primary Support interface to Development for bug handling. BDE Focuses on managing Support Bug backlog and Bug escalations through technical analysis, training, process improvement and by sustaining a cooperative relationship with the respective Product Development and Support teams.

As a Principal Support Engineer, you will offer strategic technical support to assure the highest level of customer satisfaction. A primary focus is to create/utilize automated technology and instrumentation to diagnose, document, and resolve/avoid customer issues.

You are expected to be an expert member of the technical problem solving/problem avoidance team, routinely sought after to address extremely complex, critical customer issues.

Services may be frequently provided by on-site customer visits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Critical P1 work availability and processing: Includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays as this is a 24x7 organization.

- High technical capability and understanding of the AOL product spaces. At time of posting some of the products supported are available at:

- High understanding of Customer Business Impact when faced with Customer situation or Escalation
- Resolution management skills including negotiation
- High level of technical capability to evaluate appropriate workarounds with in customer environments
- Highly developed communication skills verbal and written.
- Most work documented via BugDB, DWB, email tools and OWC.
- Able to work Saturdays and Sundays
- Ability to work under pressure


CERINTE

- 4 plus years of Oracle experience, 5+ industry knowledge

- Oracle Applications Technology expertise

- 2 plus years Oracle Applications or Application Server technical experience

- Excellent written and spoken English is a must

- Willing to work on weekend shifts

- Client Relations Skills in a Customer facing role

- Customer Support Experience preferable

- Excellent communication skills

- Experience in the use of Oracle Products

- Aptitude for complex problem solving

- Working knowledge of Oracle Applications, Applications server features: Tech-Stack, Framework, Workflow, iAS, Portal, SQL Plus, Applications patching etc

- Experience of associated tools for Business Intelligence and Warehousing

- Ability to manage changing priorities is expected
