RESPONSABILITATI

As a Principal Support Engineer, the successful candidate will offer strategic technical support to assure the highest level of customer satisfaction. A primary focus is to create/utilize automated technology and instrumentation to diagnose, document, and resolve/avoid customer issues. Said person is expected to be an expert member of the technical problem solving/problem avoidance team, routinely sought after to address extremely complex, critical customer issues. Services may be provided occasionally by on-site customer visits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Resolves very complex or previously unknown problems requiring high level technical expertise and product knowledge
-Helps drive improvements in product quality
- Responsible for communicating bug priorities to Development
-Engages in activities designed to minimize duplicate and false bugs
-Consults with Customers on complex use of Oracle products
- Consults with Management in directing resolution of critical Customer situations
- Participates in initiatives that improve overall Bug quality and that help to standardize and automate processes (e.g. creation of automated Bug templates, of remote diagnostic scripts, etc.)
- Achieves knowledge transfer with teammates through: Development and Delivery of Formal Team Training sessions/Brown Bags, Formal Mentoring, Creation/Review of Knowledge Repository Articles
- Works with development on product improvement programs as required
- Maintains an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of new products released in the market for the given product or technical area
- Processes Severity 1 requests, Bug Escalations and One-Off Backport requests
- Answers Support Requests for Assistance (RFAs)
- Participates in on-call 24x7 rotation approximately every few weeks


CERINTE

-In-depth experience in using or developing Financials Management applications, preferably experience with Project Accounting.
- Experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite Applications is a plus.
- BS Computer Science, IT or one of the Sciences or proven professional/ technical experience will be a definite advantage.
- A strong technical background would be an advantage but not essential.
- Self motivated with good communication skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English is a must.
- Willing to work on weekend shifts.
- Client Relations Skills in a Customer facing role.
- Proven track record of complex problem solving.
- Ability to manage changing priorities is expected.
