• Support of Oracle based application within METRO Systems Romania (Forms/Reports and database objects) according to designed Incident and Problem Management process (based on ITIL v3)
• analyze the issues reported by the customers via the Incident and Problem management reporting tool and offer solutions like workarounds, data correction scripts, correct usage of the application, to these issues;
• Implementation of Standard Support Services;
• Realization of Standard Services;
• Unscheduled special activity mass-data administration, correction scripts
• Maintenance of Oracle based application within METRO Systems Romania (Forms/Reports and database objects) according to designed Incident and Problem Management process (based on ITIL v3):
• analyze the issues reported by the customers via the Incident and Problem management reporting tool, offer technical solutions and implement them in the application.
• write technical specification, module development (SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports), module test execution and module versioning.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Supporting of Oracle based applications
• Experience with the analysis and design of Oracle based applications
• Good experience in PL/SQL
• Development tools (SQL Navigator, PL/SQL Developer etc.) is a plus
• Source management tool (Dimensions, PVCS) is a plus
• Incident management tool is a plus
• Knowledge of shell scripting on a Linux/Unix operating system
• Knowledge of XML would be a plus.
• Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment, to commute on tasks is a plus
• Degree in information technology or equal education.
• Fluent in English
