RESPONSABILITATI

Run a team of systems administrator that is responsible to deliver the best online services to our players;
Set and monitor adherence to high operational standards;
Manage rotation of schedules and staff to ensure a total follow-the-sun structure;
Lead operations systems and processes improvement to accommodate the massive growth of Ubisoft systems;
Ensure a high-level of uptime and quick service restoration in case of incidents;
Develop KPI and data driven systems availability reporting;
Track changes and incidents occurring on the systems under his responsibility;
Monitor system health as well as status of maintenance tasks;
Take charge of communication and coordination with the Service Center during the resolution of major incidents;
Fuel automation efforts to reduce manual operations and increase overall efficiency;
Provide operational perspectives on all aspects of the service architecture and design;
Carry out all other related tasks.


CERINTE

fessional knowledge:

Knowledge of systems monitoring and availability software (Nagios, Zabbix, Cacti)
Familiarity with operational best practices for large sale web hosting environments, including LAMP, Linux, Windows, MySQL, MSSQL
Familiarity with server configuration management systems (CfEngine, Puppet, Chef)
Cloud computing familiarity a bonus.
Strong knowledge of system administration principles
A solid grasp of networking fundamentals, including hands-on experience on network equipment, etc.
Familiar with the challenges of efficient operations
Oral and Written Comprehension of English
Command of French is an asset

We consider as relevant experience for this position:

A demonstrable history of running a high performance operations team
Customer facing support experience
5+ years of system administration experience in large organization
2+ years of technical management including team management
Demonstrated experience with large scale (500+) and geographically distributed server hosting environments
