RESPONSABILITATI

Our client is an important FMCG company with production activity based in Ploiesti.

The most important responsabilities for Operations Finance Manager position are:

• To participate at the development of the overall Operations strategy that meets the Company's objectives and is consistent with the Global Operations Strategy.
• To undertake local and regional projects and assignments that contributes to the delivery of the Company's strategies and plans.
• To participate in S&OP and PDT meetings, activities and projects with other members of the senior Operations team and contribute to key decision-making processes.
• To develop methods/procedures for capital/revenue expenditure approval to be applied to all significant investment proposals.
• To co-ordinate the preparation of the annual Operations Plan and assist Operations Managers to identify opportunities to reduce costs and optimize assets within this process and on an ongoing basis.
• To provide Operations management with routine information, analysis and advice on ongoing performance against plans to enhance decision-making.
• To assist in the design and implementation of information and control systems needed to support Operations management.
• To manage, control and forecast capital expenditure for the Ploiesti site.
• To coordinate all activities related to the provision of forecasts for all types of expenditures in the factory and the activity of calculating and reporting to local and regional management of the performance of the factory in accordance with the company guidelines.
• To train Operations Managers to be aware of the financial consequences of their decisions and of the steps necessary to ensure effective internal control.
• To establish clear goals and objectives for the Operations Finance department and develop staff to meet these goals.


CERINTE

• A financial background with a professional accountancy qualification, relevant university degree or ACCA qualification.
• Previous management experience.
• Previous experience with IFRS, SAP.
• Knowledge of key elements of the Operations function (in production).
• A thorough understanding and knowledge of financial management and systems generally.
• An understanding of the relationships/interfaces between departments and functions.
• Possess excellent influencing and communications skills.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff within the company and externally.
• Strong people development skills.
• Commercial approach to all activities.
• An effective leader of initiatives and professionals.
