• Set-up complex high performance/high availability production and development environments
• Work together with development teams, system operators and data center engineers to set-up and operate web applications
• Configure, maintain and enhance applications run on the controlled environments
• Execute deployments and hot-fixes on controlled environments
• Implement and maintain automated scripts for deployment and monitoring of applications
• Install, configure, operate and monitor web applications
• Set-up tools for assisting and optimizing daily activity
• React in real-time in case of failures of systems or applications
o Excellent working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems;
o Sound knowledge of web and application servers (specifically Apache, Tomcat, Jboss);
o Experience with scripting (Perl, Bash, Python, Batch etc.)
o Experience using and scripting on Unix/Linux shell
o Commercial experience as a LAMP stack software developer and/or systems administrator
o Years of current commercial experience as a DevOps engineer working on a high-traffic site
o Experience with high performance, open source web technologies such as Apache, nginx
o Experience with high-availability, high-performance technologies such as memcache
o Experience working in an environment with a lot of complexity due to integration between systems
o Very good written and verbal English skills;
o Good team player abilities;
o Desire for continuous self improvement;
