RESPONSABILITATI

Ensure the delivery of best value for money. Serve customers in timely / flawless and cost effective way. Constantly search for new opportunities to reduce costs local (HUB) and in coordination with regional/global Operations. Ensure maximum synergies within Menam Hub with focus on Operations harmonization between the linked locations. Lead day-to-day local operational execution and coordination. Be primary contact person for all local internal customers especially Marketing, Promotion, Finance/Controlling, IT. Ensure timely delivery of promotions/ products. Ensure timely/flawless and cost effective delivery of all services to customers. . In conjunction with the MD, and Country Managers, ensure delivery an execution of regional/global operation's strategies.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Be the leader of the local Operations Teams in Bucharest. Accountable to hire / promote /develop /retain of all local OPS staff in coordination with the VP Operations Europe and HUB mgmt. Coach and mentor local team members. Do the PMPs and goal setting processes according to cooperate roles.
Ensure regional/global Operations strategies are delivered.
Execute local strategies according the overall strategy to optimize Response mgmt., Distribution, Dispatch, Logistics, Postal and Inventory related issues
Ensure flawless execution of campaigns including products and services to customers. Major provider of day-today problem solving and consulting. Support Promotion, Editorial, and Marketing in all Ops related technical/functional questions.
Primary contact with the outsourced Promotion Production function for day to day local vendor mgmt. and performance mgmt.
Create major schedules for campaigns/product/service delivery in coordination with Marketing and Creative.
Be major point of contact for local MD, Editorial, Marketing, Finance, Controlling, IT, Advertising etc. Ensure that OPS view is considered in all processes where OPS are a stakeholder. Promote OPS as the ultimate service partner within the company.
Participate as a contributing member of the local company business management team.
Ensure permanent process improvements of all internal processes
Focus on the harmonization of OPS –processes within the HUB.
Be accountable for all HUB based locations to create Budgets for all Ops related cost (direct and departmental)
Be accountable for supplier mgmt /quality and performance control of all local suppliers (service suppliers)
Be primary and major contact to local postal authorities. Lead postal negotiations.
Arbitrate local priorities when demands between global/regional and local are in conflict.
Report and summarize local business performance and trends but also best practices and other major issues back to local and regional and global. .
Act as initial operation's contact for new service suppliers where it is local.
Search for Synergies with Menam HUB and execute them.
Drive development of major used systems, mainly Oracle (order to cash/ purchase to pay) and IFS (Customer Service and FF) legacy system, currently IFS – act as a super-user
Achieve commonality of processes within the HUB for all you do.

Few years experience in coaching, developing and managing staff
Vendor mgmt and supply chain mgmt. experience
Experience in a multi national company
Experience in managing multi national service related suppliers
Oracle know how
Financial and analytical skill – cost mgmt. skills
